A Long time we did not posted updates. We now have updated all JiNN documentation which can be found at http://docs.project-jinn.org.

We are working on some exciting new features in JiNN. Rob is working on our new report system in JiNN, I've added a remove spaces plugin and enhanced the selectbox plugin so you can now hide fields when a particular value in the selectbox is selected.

The reports function may be a small revolution for users and developers. You can use the output of JiNN datasets to fill your reports and you can use plain html and php as your report template.

We're also started replacing the PHPLIB template set with the much more flexible phpsavant. After this is done a lot of re-designing will take place. This will specialy make the development part of JiNN a lot more understandable.

Finally I found some time to fill in more pages so no more 404 I hope. We still have a lot to do. My personal todo list for this website:

We OOP'd the plugin system to reduce server overhead and to make the plugin system more structured. I hope Lex will tell you more about this refacturing.

Finally JiNN has it's own website again. And it's necesary. We doing some interesting stuff at the moment so we want to keep you informed. At this very moment we're restyling the developers mode of JiNN and we're developing a new relation manager just like you're used to in M$ Access. We're also almost finished with a new very visual filemanager plugin. And we introduced event plugins a couple of weeks ago.I hope we finish a stable release soon, but till that moment try a checkout from CVS.
